Hi team members, parents and support group,
I have some new information about the team physicals that we want to pass along to everyone.
The team physicals will be held on August 5th, 2003 in the Bayside High School gymnasium starting at 6:00 PM. The cost for the physical will be $10.00 per athlete. Please have all the paper work filled in before coming for the physical.
It would be best to arrive early since the physicals will be given on a first come- first served basis. There will be other Bayside teams there taking physicals also.
Since some of the team registration forms, such as the physical and player / parent agreement form, required notarization, a team notary will be present at the physicals given on the night of August 5th. Parents will be required to present identification such as a driver license during the notarization process.
You can still go to your family physician for the physical. Just be sure to have the physical and other registration forms turned in to Coach Gailey by the evening of August 5th. If you do not get your forms notarized before August 5th, parents must be present on the evening of August 5th to complete the notarization and submitting of the registration forms. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
For those getting their physicals at their family physician, you still need to get your forms notarized. Some of the local banks offer this service. Space Coast Credit Union offers the notary service free of charge to members who maintain a certain status with their accounts.
Have a great summer vacation. Be sure to stay or get into shape for our upcoming season by either going to one of the summer camps being offered, by joining one of the local USA club teams such as East Coast Swimming ran by Coach Pat Love plovecoach@aol.com or at least spend some time in a pool. The BCC Palm Bay campus's pool will be having their Grand Opening on the 21st of June.
We will be send out information and our team newsletter "Pooling Around" during the summer to all on our email list to keep you updated with the latest information. If you know someone on our team or interested in joining Bayside Aquatics but is not yet on our email list, please have them send their email address to BHS-CoachD@cfl.rr.com so they too can get this information.

To All whom all interested in becoming a team member on Bayside High Aquatics!!
There will be an informational meeting for all swimmers, divers and their parent / guardians in Room 203 at the Bayside High School campus on Tuesday May 13th at 6:30 PM.
Discussions will cover our upcoming swim and dive season, summer conditioning, the new pool at the BCC Palm Bay campus, equipment and uniform requirements, physicals, and summer fund raising, just to name a few.
We would like all who want to be on next year's team to attend. If you know someone who is interested in joining our Swim and Dive team, please pass along this information or bring them along with you to this meeting. If you can not make this meeting but are still interested in joining Bayside High Aquatics Swim and Dive team, please contact us by sending an email or by calling Coach Gailey at Bayside High School.
Since the opening of Bayside High School in 1998, the Swim and Dive team has made continuous strides to be one of best in South Brevard with our relay teams going to the FHSAA State Championships in the last two years. We would like to continue in that direction and go beyond to be one of the best Swim and Dive teams throughout all of Brevard County. We will be training at the new pool facility on the BCC Palm Bay campus. We are excited about the upcoming season. With your support and participation, we can make our fall Swim and Dive season a success.
