Hello!! My name is Jillianne and I am 16 years old. I live in Florida and have 2 brothers. Jerry is 19, a reserve in the United States Marine Corps, and just finished serving in Iraq. He is now attending USF full-time. Justin is 18 and a 12th grader at the same school I go to. He plans on attending UCF when he graduates. I have a dog named Leuka abd a cat named Lupie. I am in the 11th grade, and I am on the swim team, in the Beta Club, a member of Teen Court and I was the president of the sophomore class last year. I love soap operas, volunteering, and swimming. I don't like spiders, hypocrites, or onions.
And, I have a disease called Lupus.
I hope by looking through my site you will learn a little about me and a whole lot about Lupus. It is important for everyone to know about this disease in the hopes of finding a cure.
I really want to make a difference in this world, and I think that is why God gave me Lupus.
I WOULD LIKE THE THANK EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED IN STEPS FOR LUPUS, onAPRIL 26th 2003. WE RAISED ALMOST $8,000!!! FABULUOUS!!!!!!!This was my way to raise LUPUS AWARENESS and funds to get a STEP closer to a CURE!
All Proceeds went to the Dorough Lupus Foundation, founded by Howie D. and his family, after losing Caroline (his sister) to Lupus. The DLF helps in research, education, and provides financial help to organizations helping lupus patients who can't afford treatment.
AND I AM NOT DONE!!!
I will continue to raise Awareness and Money for this great cause, until a CURE IS FOUND!!!

Lupus Awareness Awareness Brings Money!!! Money Brings A Cure!!! Make A Difference
As you look through my site you will find out about the different things that I am involved in. For instance, on April 26th, 2003 we held STEPS FOR LUPUS 2003. You will see some of my past projects. In 2001, for national "Make A Difference Day", the community helped me with "Steps For Lupus 2001". We raised awareness of Lupus, and over $8,000. ALL proceeds were donated to the Dorough Lupus Foundation. Please check out the information for STEPS FOR LUPUS 2003 and this year's pledge letter. It's never too late to make a donation!! You can help me get a step closer to a cure for LUPUS.
